一、PTT ID:fishdream
二、暱稱:DrPepperFanatic
三、星座:
四、現居地: Japan
五、戀愛史:
Met my wife through a meetup.
Moved to Japan, got engaged, then got married in Vermont (socialists and maple
syrup!!!)
六、我想對CCR的大家說:
Forgive me for not typing this in Chinese, as English is much easier and faste
r for me. Rather, it's sometimes embarrassing to speak Chiglish. Proper Chines
e takes so much effortttt. To be honest, I don't really know how I stumbled to
here... I'm usually only on Reddit or Tumblr.
Hesitated to post anything here, primarily because I very much dislike general
izations based on nationalities. Being a TCK (Third Culture Kid) myself, being
forced to be a "Taiwanese" due to my citizenship is even more painful (cultur
ally more than anything else).
To begin this story, I'll start by revealing my sexuality. I'm bisexual, and m
y wife is a homosexual (or homoromantic bisexual? We're not fond of labels.) I
'm addressing this mostly because we have had an imaginable amount of difficul
ties in Taiwan and Japan to recognize our relationship in the past and present
. We recently took a trip to Taiwan for paperwork, we couldn't even get regist
ered as a married couple... (this is going to change, but no one knows how lon
g it will take, if not two years) So shout out to all the LGBTQIA couples out
there :)
I made a choice to marry my wife against my parents' wish...it had been hard,
but we're happily married for over 3 months now!! (Turns out there's not much
of a story, sorry lol)
