不同國家的人，在溝通的節奏上真的會有挺大差異。
原po的信翻成中文，在台灣感覺很活潑，
但是在英語系國家，即使對方是偶爾會出去玩的朋友，
有可能還是會顯得稍微輕浮無禮了。
寫英文信，除非寫給很親近的朋友，否則起承轉合還是重要的，
依照收信人的親疏遠近，用詞上面也稍有不同。
寫信直接就要求對方幫助自己考試，改作文，也不是很適合，
把這件事情包裝成是一個比較輕鬆互惠的提議較好。
盡量不要一直提到『我需要什麼，因為我要怎樣，我我我我…』
最後記得留一個讓他可以拒絕的選項，以免對方沒興趣又不知怎麼回應。

不過我剛開始在英國住下時，也花了很多時間去習慣這種文化差異，
寫信還算好的，講話習慣要改才真是費神，
剛開始我常常不明白，為何我講話對方都聽得懂，
卻常常有種不知道怎麼接的感覺(講電話尤其明顯)，
後來才知道，我的節奏太快了，
他們非常講究起承轉合和一些莫名的委婉用語，
以致於剛開始有些人跟我對話後都覺得我是外星人，
我的前房東還曾說，妳真是個怪女孩，不過很令人難忘XDD
美國人也許沒有那麼嚴謹，但是我相信禮多人不怪的。
以原po和對方的交情，email太過正式也怪，
底下我放了一個『如果是我我會這樣寫』的版本
僅供參考，絕對無冒犯之意，希望能幫助到原po

I really enjoyed the time we hanged out together. It was always
good fun to have conversation with you. Therefore I am just
wondering if it is of your interest to chat and learn at the same
time- a language exchange? Of course, only if you are not too busy.
I am not sure which topics or language skills you would look into.
However, as a native Mandarin speaker I am quite confident that I will
always be able to cover most of the basis. As for me, it would be very
helpful if you could offer some proof reading on my English writing.
If you are interested, we could meet and go over a more detailed plan
together? Otherwise please feel free to let me know if it is not for
you at this moment. We can still just hang out from time to time! :-)
